Its not all fun and games....but some :)
We went on this gorgeous hike through the jungle to get to a 1000 foot waterfall. It looked like jurassic park. It was an incredible chance to get away from all of the overwhelming things going on with school, like a vacation for a day ...We had to hike through rivers and over boulders and it was one of the most strenuous things I have ever done, and probably the most beautiful place I have ever been.

Hello everyone!
I apologize I am not so good at putting up new posts, things are just so hectic!
The last couple of weeks have been awesome.
We have learned about the father heart of God, we have studied the Bible in depth, and we have looked at the Lordship of Jesus!
God has been moving in my life more and more. I am learning more about Jesus every day, and really how to let Him be Lord of my life. I am reading this awesome book Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. To sum up what I have gotten from it so far I really feel that my life is meant to be lived in the sort of way that mirrors the way Jesus lived. I want to see the injustice issues going on in the world the way the Lord sees them. I want to have Jesus' heart for the poor, the rejected, and the oppressed. I want to live in LOVE.
God is teaching me about His heart for the people, but also for me. I am learning to love myself, which is a struggle every day. But as I learn to see myself in God's image and see his love for me, I can then be set free of any lies that the enemy has planted in my spirit in the past. And I can be attuned to know when he is trying to lie to me again and reject it! This is a battle that I am winning more and more every day. Being free and full of the joy of the Spirit means that I can do the work of the Lord without anything holding me back!
So it is really my dream to love people how God loves them. To be his hands and his feet to reach the people.
My prayer this week is that I would be able to manage my time so that I can really organize my thoughts and have time to process all that I am learning, but also get all of my school work done.
